Italian architect and Fulbright scholar at SCI-Arc in 1999, Paola Giaconia worked with such architectural offices as Morphosis and RoTo in Los Angeles. She is author of the book Los Angeles. Cittą unica (released by Testo&Immagine in 2001), co-editor (with Marco Brizzi) of BEYOND MEDIA 02 and INTIMACY, catalogues of the 6th and 7th Florence festival of architecture in video, and curator of the SPOT ON SCHOOLS exhibit (Florence, 2003).
